A key advantage of pneumatic systems over hydraulic ones is fast response, which depends heavily on the internal flow-path design and machining accuracy of the valve body — burrs or abrupt cross-section changes in the flow path create extra resistance and turbulence as air passes through, directly slowing system response and even affecting synchronization when multiple pneumatic components work together. Mounting hole and sealing-face accuracy on the body are equally important — hole misalignment introduces internal stress after assembly, potentially degrading airtightness over time.
