A valve seat is the fixed component that the valve core contacts and seals against when closed, with its sealing-face flatness and hardness determining shutoff performance and service life. The most common cause of valve seat failure is wear or indentation on the sealing face from repeated impact, resulting in minor leakage even when closed. We precision-turn the sealing face and add quenching or surface hardening as needed to improve impact and wear resistance, while tightly controlling flatness and roughness to ensure a reliable seal against the valve core — widely used in industrial valves and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
